Prosecutor's Office Response to Actions at the Home of 'Vstrechi Aper'
The advisor to the Chief Prosecutor, Gor Abrahamyan, addressed the searches conducted at the home of Aram Vardanyan, known by the nickname 'Vstrechi Aper,' on his Facebook page. He specifically stated:
“Considering the actions carried out at Aram Vardanyan's residence and the neighboring houses, in response to inquiries from my colleagues—journalists—regarding the legality of these actions, which stem from the absence of official information and the effect of one-sided public statements and comments, I just want to say the following at this moment:
There is a necessity for extensive and urgent operational-investigative and criminal actions within the scope of a serious criminal offense, which have been carried out and are still ongoing.
Given the necessity to not jeopardize the actions aimed at uncovering the alleged offense, and in the interests of the preliminary investigation, we refrain from providing additional information at this time. Proper information will be ensured later.
As for inquiries concerning the legality of police actions, reports and alerts on this matter will receive appropriate legal assessments.”
