Car Accident in Ararat Region Involving Lada and Toyota Camry Leaves Injured
On March 4, a car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 10:30 AM, on the 40th km of the Yerevan-Yerashkh highway, in the administrative area of Vosketap village, a collision took place between a Lada 21101, with registration number 029 LT 08, driven by 56-year-old Arthur Mikayelyan from Yerevan and a Toyota Camry, with registration number 67 AS 777, driven by 72-year-old Gor Gabrielyan from Vosketap.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, passengers of A. Mikayelyan, all residents of Yerevan, 72-year-old Rafael Zulalyan, 65-year-old Gagik Gasparyan, and 51-year-old Arman Barseghyan, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Vedi Medical Center.
Rapid response forces from the 2nd squadron of the 1st battalion of the traffic police arrived at the scene, led by battalion commander Grigor Poghosyan and squad commander Karapet Harutyunyan.
The investigation at the scene was directed by the senior investigator of the same battalion, Margar Margaryan, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
According to G. Shamshyan's reports, the driver of the Lada works at Ararat Cement LLC. Among the injured, G. Gasparyan serves as the chief accountant, A. Barseghyan as the commercial director, and R. Zulalyan as an accountant at Ararat Cement LLC.
