Disinfection Work Underway in Major Supermarkets of Yerevan: NSSRA

Although disinfection work is regularly carried out in retail networks, considering the recent rise in acute respiratory infections, particularly the threat of coronavirus, disinfection efforts are being conducted in major supermarkets of Yerevan as a preventive measure at a frequency of 3-4 times a day, as instructed by the Armenian National Center for Food Safety (NSSRA).

The areas and surfaces that consumers may directly touch are being disinfected especially.

The regulatory body urges all retail points to also carry out preventive disinfection measures in their areas to prevent the possible spread of infections.
