Details on the Meghri Medical and Sanitary Control Point
The operational conditions of the Meghri Medical and Sanitary Control Point have been improved. The Health and Labor Inspection Body now has its own space at the Meghri border checkpoint to carry out its statutory functions at a more appropriate level. Thanks to the consistent support of the Head of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, and his deputy, Shushan Nikoghosyan, a new quality is being introduced to the medical and sanitary supervision of individuals crossing the Republic of Armenia's borders through coordinated efforts with the Head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body, Hakob Avagyan.
The Health and Labor Inspection Body informs that there are now adequate working conditions here, including a new area for isolating individuals showing symptoms characteristic of infectious diseases. Previously, the work of the medical and sanitary control point was conducted around a single table.
