21-Year-Old Driver Crashes Volkswagen Golf into Concrete Poles and Ends Up in Field

On March 3, an accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 2:00 PM, a 21-year-old resident of Aygestan village, identified as D. M., lost control of his Volkswagen Golf with temporary license plate number 1607 CQ. The incident took place on the 2nd kilometer of the Dalar-Aygestan inter-village road, where under unknown circumstances, the car veered off the roadway and ended up in a field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, D. M. was transported to the 'Artashat' medical center with bodily injuries. Road police officers from the 2nd troop of the 1st battalion arrived promptly at the scene, leading by battalion commander Grigor Poghosyan and platoon commander Karapet Harutyunyan.

The investigative work at the site was led by investigator Gevorg Poghosyan from the same battalion, who is preparing materials on the incident.
