23 Members of Iran's Parliament Infected with Coronavirus: Details

Tests have confirmed the presence of the new type of coronavirus in 23 members of Iran's Parliament (Majlis). This was reported on March 3 by the Deputy Speaker of the legislative body, Abdolreza Mesri.

It should be noted that the number of coronavirus cases in Iran has increased by more than 800 in the last 24 hours, reaching a total of 2,336, with the death toll rising to 77.

“According to the latest data, there are 835 new cases of infection, and 11 new death cases. Based on these records, the total number of infections has risen to 2,336, with 77 fatalities reported. The positive news is that 435 individuals have recovered,” announced the Deputy Minister of Health of Iran during an IRINN broadcast, as reported by RIA Novosti.
