French Health Minister Urges Against Kissing and Shaking Hands
The French Health Minister Olivier Véran has urged citizens to reduce physical contact, avoid kissing, and refrain from handshakes. According to CNN, the official has opposed the traditional French custom of kissing on the cheeks due to the risks posed by the coronavirus.
“It is recommended to decrease physical social contact. This also includes kissing,” Véran told reporters.
