«Zhamanak». Armenian Brandy Advertising to be Banned on Electronic Media

«Zhamanak» newspaper reports that the government is planning to amend the law on advertising to prohibit the advertising of locally produced brandy through electronic mass media.

Currently, the law allows for an exception for local brandy, and its advertising can be shown at any time of the day. The aim of this amendment is to ensure a level playing field for all producers and importers.
