Why This Hate Speech Is Liked by Naira Zohrabyan: MP from 'My Step'

MP Hovhannes Hovhannisyan from the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly has raised concerns on his Facebook page, stating: 'A citizen recently sent me this screenshot and is justifiably questioning two points. First, is this not hate speech? And second, why is this hate speech liked by the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs, thus contributing to its dissemination? So, the question is: Dear Ms. Zohrabyan, did you like this post, and if so, what are your considerations?'

Naira Zohrabyan responded to Hovhannisyan's inquiry in the comments of the post, stating: 'Mr. Hovhannisyan, I believe we have a normal relationship and you could have clarified this with me. It has merely been a misunderstanding, and there's no need to make a tragedy of the century out of it. Focus on more serious matters rather than counting likes.'
