We Have Recorded the Highest Economic Growth in the Entire European Region: Prime Minister
We have recorded the highest economic growth in the entire European region. This was stated today by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during a Government session, summarizing the work of 2019.
Pashinyan noted that it was the first year when the new government was fully operational. He emphasized that the indicators for that year should demonstrate the government's effectiveness.
Among these indicators, Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted economic growth, which reached 7.6 percent. He stated that this figure is higher than in all EAEU countries, as well as neighboring and European countries.
Pashinyan also added that alongside this growth, there has been financial stability, and inflation remained at a manageable level.
