Vitali Balasanyan's Electoral Campaign Kicks Off

The presidential candidate of Artsakh, Vitali Balasanyan, along with the "Justice" party, commenced his electoral campaign on February 26, near the "We Are Our Mountains" (Tatick Papik) monument in Stepanakert.

In this regard, a statement issued by Balasanyan's office noted: “Many voters, including a significant number of young people, participated in this solemn event. March 31 is a critically important day for the people of Artsakh to evaluate the previous term and set new benchmarks for the country’s development.”

Welcoming those gathered, Balasanyan particularly emphasized: “The atmosphere of injustice and social polarization in society has caused disappointment and pessimism, which drives our compatriots to leave the country. This situation is unacceptable and demands change.” He expressed his readiness to unite all healthy forces to implement programs developed with the involvement of high-level specialists to address specific problems.

In the coming days of the campaign, he will have the opportunity to present in detail to the voters his team's programs aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of Artsakh's security system, creating a business-friendly environment and jobs, combating the corruption and patronage that undermine the country from within, and improving the social welfare of the people of Artsakh.

“Alongside glorious victories, we have failed to realize similar victories in our homeland, namely in social justice, economy, education, healthcare, revitalization of rural communities, balanced development of the entire territory of the Republic of Artsakh, and utilizing the full potential of youth,” Balasanyan stated, stressing, “We will stand by our victory, will not allow division among our people, and will ensure a prosperous life. May there never be a reason to draw the sword from its sheath, and may the Cross lead us.”

The participants of the campaign's official launch then moved to Askeran, where they laid flowers at the "February 22" monument. Following this, Balasanyan headed to Talish, where he met with voters.
