Armenian Citizens in Japan and Korea Urged to Contact Embassy

Armenian citizens currently in Japan and Korea are urged to contact the embassy due to a significant increase in COVID-19 cases in these countries. The Embassy of Armenia encourages all Armenians visiting or residing in Japan and Korea to reach out and provide contact information.

Travelers are also advised to avoid areas with a high number of virus outbreaks, including Hokkaido, Kanagawa, Tokyo, Chiba, Ishikawa, Wakayama, and Okinawa in Japan, as well as Seoul, Daegu, Gwangju, and Gyeongsang provinces in South Korea.

The embassy recommends following the guidelines from the Armenian Ministry of Health, as well as the relevant authorities in Japan and Korea. Additionally, the Japan National Tourism Organization hotline is available at 050-3816-2787, and the Korea Tourism Organization hotline can be reached at 1330.
