Turkey Constructs Field Hospitals Along Border with Iran
The Turkish sanitary-epidemiological service is constructing field hospitals along the border with Iran for the quarantine of citizens arriving from Iran and other countries that are considered to be a viral threat. This was announced by Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.
In this way, Turkish authorities are trying to take precautionary measures in the fight against the coronavirus. Even in this case, Ankara believes it is impossible to completely rule out the possibility of the virus spreading within Turkey. Particular attention will be given to individuals arriving from South Korea, Iran, and of course, China, whether arriving directly or in transit.
