Official Visit of Nikol Pashinyan to Moldova Planned
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed issues related to the further development of Armenian-Moldovan relations with the President of the Moldovan Parliament, Zinaida Greceanîi, who arrived in Armenia.
The Prime Minister's Office informed that Nikol Pashinyan mentioned in his speech: “My official visit to Moldova is planned. Before that, the intergovernmental commission will work on the agenda to make the visit more effective. We have high-level political relations between our countries, and we need to work on promoting economic cooperation as well,” said the Prime Minister, emphasizing the importance of holding business forums to enhance business ties.
Pashinyan also underscored the development of Armenian-Moldovan interparliamentary cooperation, which would contribute not only to political but also humanitarian and cultural relations strengthening.
Zinaida Greceanîi, for her part, noted that her country is interested in giving new momentum to cooperation with Armenia not only in politics but also in the economic sector. The Parliament President addressed the changes occurring in Moldova's economy and legislative framework and thanked the Armenian government for its willingness to share experiences in judicial reforms.
At the same time, members of the Moldovan parliamentary delegation considered the changes taking place in Armenia and the government's consistent efforts to promote reforms as encouraging.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also touched upon other issues related to Armenian-Moldovan relations.
