Urgent: Commander of Artsakh Defense Army Dismissed, New Appointment Made

The President of the Artsakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan, has signed a decree relieving Lieutenant General Karen Abrahamyan from the position of Minister of Defense-Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army.

According to the press service of the President of the Artsakh Republic, in another decree signed by President Bako Sahakyan, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan has been appointed as the Minister of Defense-Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, having been relieved from his position as First Deputy-Head of Staff of the Artsakh Defense Army.
