Hrayr Tovmasyan Has Filed a Lawsuit Against Nikol Pashinyan
The President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, Hrayr Tovmasyan, has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Tovmasyan is demanding an apology for offensive statements and a denial of allegedly defamatory information.
This information was reported by Armtimes.com. The lawsuit was filed on February 21 and has been assigned to Judge Gayane Khachatryan of the Yerevan City Court of General Jurisdiction.
It is noteworthy that during a press conference in Kapan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Hrayr Tovmasyan had offered his services to the current authorities. In response, Tovmasyan announced that unless the Prime Minister presents credible evidence of his claims, he would file a lawsuit for defamation.
Following this, the Prime Minister published a photo of a pen that Tovmasyan had gifted him during a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian General Benevolent Union, indicating that Tovmasyan addressed him exclusively as "Mr. Prime Minister" and "Mr. Pashinyan" on that day.
After this post, Hrayr Tovmasyan requested his lawyers to prepare a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
