Alarm: Citizen Attempts to Place Explosive Device at Airport

On February 22, at 19:11, the National Crisis Management Centre received information that a citizen was attempting to place an explosive device at Zvartnots Airport.

A response team was dispatched from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including a firefighting unit, a rescue unit from the Special Rescue Operations Centre, an operational group from the National Crisis Management Centre, an engineering and rescue unit from the Civil Defense Directorate, a duty group from the Medical Support Directorate, an instructor for psychological counseling, and an operational group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Division.
