Fire Breaks Out Near Dilijan Shooting Range

On February 21, at 18:28, the Crisis Management National Center received a report that an area covered with grass was burning near the shooting range in Dilijan, Tavush Province.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly dispatched a firefighting unit to the scene. It was determined that the fire had ignited in an area known as "Shlorkut".

The fire was contained by 19:03 and extinguished by 19:12. Approximately 5,000 square meters of grass cover was burned. Two employees from the Dilijan National Park participated in the firefighting efforts.
