VIDEO: Misconduct at Dilijan Secondary School No. 2

Within the framework of preparatory materials at the Dilijan police department, operational-investigative measures have led to the acquisition of factual data regarding misconduct at Secondary School No. 2 in Dilijan.

It has been revealed that school officials, abusing their official position, registered three individuals as caretakers of the school between 2009 and 2013. These individuals never reported to work, yet salaries were issued in their names.

Additionally, two residents of Dilijan were registered as security guards of the school and were granted maternity and post-natal leaves. During this time, another person performed their duties.

As a result of these violations, more than 2 million 287 thousand drams have been embezzled. Utilizing their official position, a criminal case has been initiated by the Dilijan police department for large-scale embezzlement or misappropriation and official forgery, which has been forwarded to the investigative committee.
