On the evening of February 19, armed attacks occurred almost simultaneously at two cafes in the city of Hesse, Germany. As a result of the incident, 11 people lost their lives, and there are injuries as well. The names and nationalities of the victims have not yet been officially released, but according to Turkish media, 5 of the deceased are Turks.
It is also known that one of the targeted locations was a hookah café owned by a Turkish individual from the city of Konya, Turkey, as reported by Ermenihaber.
According to data released by the South Hessen police, the attack took place at cafes located on Heumarkt and Kurt Schumacher streets. After the incident, which occurred at 10 PM local time, the police identified one of the perpetrators and his address. Special police units were dispatched to that location and discovered 2 bodies. According to police data, the deceased are Tobias R., one of the attack participants, and his mother.
