VIDEO: 7 Citizens Evacuated Amid Fire in Apartment

On February 20, at 12:27 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting smoke coming from an apartment on the ground floor of building 11 on Rubinyants Street in Yerevan. Firefighting teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Department dispatched three fire engines, along with a special rescue unit from the Rescue Forces Management Department, and an operational group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department.

Upon arriving at the scene, it was determined that a fire had broken out in one of the apartments on the ground floor. Rescuers conducted evacuation measures, successfully evacuating 7 citizens. Initial reports indicate that the windows of the second and third floors of the building were thermally damaged. The fire was contained at 1:11 PM and extinguished by 1:24 PM.
