Armenia is the Third Most Militarized Country

According to a report from the Bonn International Center for Conversion, Armenia ranks third among the world's most militarized countries. As reported by Armenpress, the report covering the year 2019 includes 154 countries.

The International Center for Conversion publishes the military index of countries annually, comparing the weight and significance of a country's military apparatus against other sectors of public life.

The top ten most militarized countries include Israel, Singapore, Armenia, Cyprus, South Korea, Russia, Greece, Jordan, Belarus, and Azerbaijan. According to the report, Turkey ranks 19th, Iran 24th, and Georgia 49th.
