Pashinyan Promises to Review Points System Once Drivers Are Stripped of Licenses
Currently, no one has lost their driving license due to the points system. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan assured this during a live broadcast today. He noted that all license suspensions have been linked to severe violations.
Pashinyan informed that the suspensions of driving licenses have been related to instances of driving under the influence, driving without state registration plates, failing to comply with police requests, and similar cases.
According to Pashinyan, individuals will begin losing their driving licenses as a result of the points system by late March to early April. He stated that it will then be possible to conduct a thorough analysis of the situation and fine-tune the points system if necessary.
The Prime Minister promised to revisit this topic during that period.
