Joint Meeting of Security Councils Scheduled; Pashinyan to Attend
A joint meeting of the Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh is set to take place soon. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also travel to Artsakh for the meeting, according to ArmDaily.am.
It is worth noting that this will be the third joint session since the revolution. The first meeting occurred on March 12 in Stepanakert, co-chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan. The main topic of the agenda was to jointly assess the current situation regarding the peaceful resolution process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and outline coordinated actions.
It should be noted that Armenian President Armen Sarkissian did not participate in that meeting. The Presidential Office stated that there had not been a proper invitation extended, while the government responded that everything was conducted in accordance with the law. The second meeting took place on December 23 in Yerevan.
