At a western airport in India, the engine of a GoAir passenger aircraft caught fire before takeoff. This was reported by the Indian airline in a statement, according to the Independent.
"The presence of a foreign object in the engine section caused the fire. The fire has already been extinguished. All passengers and crew members have been evacuated to a safe area," noted the company.
