Details from Pashinyan's Meeting with Security Officials

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that consultations and discussions among the heads of security agencies followed one after another regarding the current situation in the army. After returning from a business trip yesterday, Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan convened a meeting at the Ministry of Defense, and subsequently rushed to meet with the Prime Minister.

Details have emerged from the closed meeting with Nikol Pashinyan. In particular, Pashinyan made remarks to the officials present about the shortcomings they had allowed. All listened with their heads down.

We learned that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Hayk Grigoryan, presented each case to the Prime Minister, noting that they were unrelated to each other.

According to information received by the newspaper, after the meeting with the Prime Minister, Minister Tonoyan will take decisive actions at the Ministry of Defense, and there is a specific decision regarding the head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Defense: he will be relieved of his duties.

Additionally, further details emerged yesterday regarding the case of officer Hayk Asryan, who died from gunfire in the frontline area on February 14. It turns out that before ascending to the positions, he had visited a psychologist, but that did not prevent him from being given a weapon and sent to the front.
