Decision Made to Arrest 228 Employees of Turkey's Military and Justice Ministry
In Turkey, a decision has been made to arrest 228 employees of the armed forces and the Ministry of Justice as part of the investigation against the terrorist group considered to be the "Fethullahist Terrorist Organization" (FETÖ), reported Ermenihaber.
Accordingly, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Izmir has decided to arrest 157 former and current representatives of the Turkish Air Force and Navy, with 101 of them currently in active service. Based on this decision, special operations have been carried out across 43 provinces in Turkey to locate the suspects.
On the other hand, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Ankara has also decided to arrest 71 employees of the Ministry of Justice as part of the ongoing investigation against FETÖ. The anti-crime units of the Ankara police conducted simultaneous operations at pre-determined addresses in 15 provinces. Among the suspects are secretaries, executive directors, and employees of correctional facilities.
