Another Russian Citizen Suspected of Coronavirus Infection

On the 'Diamond Princess' cruise ship, the presence of the coronavirus is suspected in another Russian citizen. This is the second Russian citizen being monitored for the virus. The two suspects are a married couple, according to the Russian Embassy in Japan.

Previously, the Japanese authorities had transferred one of the spouses, the wife, from the ship to a hospital for more detailed examination. Now, the husband has also been sent to a medical center.

As of now, however, the presence of the virus has not been confirmed in the wife, while it has been confirmed in the husband. He has been moved to recovery. The man's treatment is proceeding smoothly, without complications.
