Wall of Entrance Collapses in Yerevan Building, Stones Fall on Two Women
On February 16 at 15:47, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that the wall of the entrance of a building on 6th Street in Vardashen, Yerevan, had collapsed, resulting in injuries.
A firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a portion of the wall of the fourth-floor balcony (approximately 3 square meters) had partially collapsed, with debris falling on residents Rima K. (born 1938) and Eliza A. (born 1952).
Emergency medical personnel examined the citizens; both refused hospitalization. Rescuers cordoned off the area.
