VIDEO: The Mayor's Wife Did Not Show Up for Work, Yet Received Over 2.7 Million Drams in Salary

The Talin Division of Police has obtained factual data regarding the irregularities of the principal of the main school in the Tlik community through operational-investigative measures taken within the framework of prepared materials.

Specifically, it has been revealed that in 2015, the school's principal appointed the mayor's wife as the night watchman of the school; however, the woman did not appear for work and received over 2.7 million drams in salary until January of this year.

During the preparation of the materials, it was also found that the appointed night watchman had been absent from Armenia several times for different periods. Utilizing her official position, a criminal case has been initiated by the Talin Division of Police for large-scale embezzlement or misappropriation and official forgery, which has been sent to the Investigative Committee.
