VIDEO: Camera Captures Moment a Toyota Driver Hits 2 Pedestrians in Yerevan

The pedestrians were crossing the street at a prohibited area when they were struck by the driver of a Toyota. One of the pedestrians died on the spot; police discovered the body on the roof of the Toyota, while the other pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Today, February 17, a 67-year-old resident of Yerevan, Hayk Elizbaryan, who had been taken to the hospital following the incident on February 16 near the Ararat Bank on Paronyan Street after being hit by the driver of the Toyota with license plate 01 PV 001, passed away in the hospital. Another pedestrian also died on the spot.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, based on the circumstances, a criminal case has been initiated by the senior investigator of the Yerevan investigative department for traffic-related crimes, Arthur Adamyan, under Article 242, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code (a traffic accident resulting in the death of two or more persons due to negligence).
