VIDEO: Hundreds of Dead Vultures Discovered on Highway in Spain

Hundreds of dead birds have been discovered on the highway connecting the Spanish cities of Tarragona and Salou. The Local reported this on Monday, February 17.

The dead birds found on the C-31b highway have been identified as vultures. A video from the scene has been shared by a local resident.

At the site, police collected the vultures, and several of them were sent to a laboratory for examination.

According to preliminary information from environmentalists, the mass mortality of the birds may be linked to chemical emissions in the atmosphere or mass poisoning.
