Vahagn Vermishyan's Arrest Ruling Challenged

The decision to arrest Vahagn Vermishyan, the head of the Armenian Urban Development Committee, has been challenged. This information was provided to 24News by Vermishyan's attorney, Mushegh Arakelyan.

The lawyer also stated that Vahagn Vermishyan does not accept the charges brought against him. A motion for bail has been submitted, leaving the amount to the discretion of the court.

It is noteworthy that on the early morning of February 5, officials from the National Security Service conducted operational actions in Vermishyan's office and then left the building with him. The NSS announced that Vermishyan was arrested for receiving a particularly large bribe and has confessed to the alleged crime.
