Vachagan Ghazaryan and His Wife Compensate 2.837 Billion AMD of Damage to the State Budget

The former head of Serzh Sargsyan's security service, Vachagan Ghazaryan, his wife, Rouzanna Beglaryan, and six other individuals are no longer under criminal investigation as they have compensated for damages caused by their alleged crimes.

This information was provided by Marina Ohanyan, spokesperson for the Special Investigative Service, in response to a question from “Armenian Time.” She noted that they have repaid the full amount of unpaid taxes, which totaled 2 billion 837 million AMD, to the state budget.

According to Ohanyan, evidence gathered during the pre-investigation of the criminal case against Vachagan Ghazaryan and his wife Rouzanna Beglaryan, along with comprehensive tax audits conducted, confirmed that they organized the non-payment of significant and particularly large amounts of taxes by seven LLCs associated with them, which involved various individuals in executing these actions.
