Tragic Car Accident in Ararat Province: One Dead and One Injured

On February 17, at around 12:40 PM, a tragic car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Two vehicles collided on the 2nd kilometer segment of the Masis-Nubarashen highway: a Volkswagen with license plate 05 OT 456 and a VAZ 2107 with license plate 09 GG 022.

This information has been reported by Shamshyan.com. Police discovered the driver of the Volkswagen dead inside the vehicle and transported him to Masis Hospital.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Masis Investigative Division under the second part of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The police and investigative division are working to identify the deceased and the injured person. According to preliminary information, it appears that the driver of the Volkswagen suffered a sudden death while driving, which led to the accident, causing the VAZ to veer off the road and end up in a field.
