Investigation Teams Assigned to Garrison Investigative Department Following Soldier Deaths

In recent days, in connection with the reported deaths in the army, Deputy Head of the Military Investigative Main Department of the RA Investigative Committee A. Aslanyan, Deputy Heads of the Department for Particularly Important Cases A. Movsisyan and A. Sargsyan, Senior Investigator S. Gasparyan, and Investigator G. Avetisyan have been dispatched to the Garrison Investigative Department on February 14, 2020.

By the order of the Head of the Military Investigative Main Department of the RA Investigative Committee, investigative teams have been formed. As of February 12, 2020, the criminal cases concerning the deaths of Junior Sergeant Tigran Mkhoyan and Private Tigran Manvelyan have been accepted for proceedings, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
