Details on the Fire at an Auto Service Point in Yerevan
On February 16, a major fire occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 20:25, the 911 operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting a fire at the auto service point located at 22/1 Melkumov Street.
As previously reported, four firefighting units from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with an operational group from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department, arrived at the scene. A fire complexity level of '1-BIS' was declared.
According to preliminary information, fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the fire. As reported by Shamshyan.com, several vehicles inside the service point were completely reduced to ashes. The cause of the fire will be determined after a series of investigations are conducted.
The police are working to identify the owners of the vehicles. The source reports that citizens attempted to combat the fire before the firefighters arrived.
