5.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Iran
A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran on February 16, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The subterranean tremors were recorded at 4:30 PM Yerevan time. The epicenter was located 48 km west of the city of Bandar Abbas, with the quake's depth registered at 47 kilometers.
No information has been reported regarding casualties or damage caused by the earthquake.
