Dispute Among 9 Students Ends in Stabbing

The Investigative Committee of Armenia's Aragatsotn region is preparing materials regarding a dispute that ended in stabbing on February 15 in Aragatsotn province.

At around 12:00 PM, police officers from the Ashtarak division noticed a group of teenagers arguing in front of the house number 20 on Tigran Metz Street in the city of Ashtarak. Upon approaching them, the officers discovered that the individuals involved were 16-year-old Hamlet E., 16-year-old Manuk B., 16-year-old Vazir K., 16-year-old Armen H., 17-year-old Gevorg M., and 16-year-old Garik K.

These individuals later presented themselves at the Ashtarak police division, where it was determined that Armen H. had suffered a stab wound to the right side of his waist. The police transported him to the “Ashtarak” medical center.

Following up on the incident, Aragatsotn police officers and investigators conducted necessary operational and investigative actions and found that the dispute had occurred not only among the aforementioned individuals but also involved 14-year-old Vanik N., 15-year-old Armen T., and 14-year-old Sargis S. from Ashtarak city. According to preliminary information, Armen T. stabbed Armen H.

Armen T. was presented at the Ashtarak police division and was later transferred to the Aragatsotn regional investigatory department. Police also discovered the knife used in the crime, which was found partially broken.

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, some of the participants in the brawl are students at Vardges Petrosyan School in Ashtarak, while others attend the school in Parakar village.
