There Are Closed and Difficult Accessible Roads in Armenia as of 08:25
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of February 15 at 08:25, there are closed and difficult accessible roads in the territory of Armenia.
The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kary Lake in the Aragatsotn province will remain closed for an indefinite period.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and is difficult to pass for other transportation. The Sotk-Karvachar road is closed only for trucks, while it is difficult to pass for others. The Sisian-Zanger section is also difficult to access.
In the provinces of Syunik and Kotayk, as well as in the Aparan and Aragats regions of Aragatsotn, there are patches of black ice on the roads.
Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed only for trucks with trailers.
According to the information received from the crisis management center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, there are about 1,000 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.
