Accident Occurs in Kotayk Province Due to Road Black Ice

On February 14, an accident occurred in Kotayk Province. At around 08:30, vehicles collided at the intersection in the village of Aghavnadzor on the Hrazdan-Hankavan road. The involved vehicles were driven by residents of Kotayk Province: Vahan S., 36, in an Opel with license plate 36 RL 495, Onik H., 59, in a VAZ-2121 with license plate 42 TL 946, Arsen S., 34, in a Mercedes with license plate 36 QV 735, and Artak H., 33, in a Nissan with license plate 91 XA 008.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver Artak H. and a passenger in the Mercedes, 53-year-old Eranuhi P. from Kotayk Province, were hospitalized with injuries at the “Hrazdan” Medical Center. The road was reported to have had black ice.
