Video: 27-Year-Old Resident Caught Engaging in Illegal Logging with Additional Loaded Vehicle

A video recording was made by an officer from the Tumanyan division of the police. The individual operating the chainsaw is a 27-year-old resident of Alaverdi city. Police in Tumanyan received operational information about illegal logging taking place in the forest, and they arrived at the scene and apprehended the logger in action.

Additionally, a truck loaded with several cubic meters of timber, which was being used by the young man, was discovered at the location; there were no accompanying documents for the wood. The individual was taken into custody, the truck was moved to a protected area of the police division, and the chainsaw was confiscated. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident, and a specialized examination has been ordered. The fight against illegal logging continues.
