Several Roads Remain Closed in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 14 at 12:20, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads across the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn province will remain closed for an indefinite period. Additionally, the Vardenyats Pass and the road from Tsovak to Lchavan in the Gegharkunik province are also closed. The Sotk-Karvachar road is only open for passenger vehicles.

Moreover, the Sotk-Karvachar and Goris-Sisian roads in Syunik province, as well as the Sisian-Zanger and Saravan-Zanger sections, are experiencing difficult conditions due to snow.

There are icy patches on the roads in the Syunik and Kotayk provinces, as well as in the Aparan and Aragats regions of Aragatsotn, with snow falling in the Saravan-Zanger area.
