A Contract Soldier Dies Under Unclear Circumstances in Artsakh

On February 14, at around 19:00, a contract soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army, born in 1997, Hayk Nerses Asryan, sustained a fatal gunshot wound while on guard duty at one of the military units stationed in the eastern direction. The circumstances of the incident remain unclear.

An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the case.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh shares in the heavy sorrow of this loss and expresses its support to the family members, relatives, and comrades of the fallen soldier.
