VIDEO: Open Manhole on Rubinyants Street in Yerevan

Auroranews has received a report regarding an open manhole in the trafficable area of Rubinyants Street in the Avan administrative district of Yerevan.

A citizen who called us informed that the cover of the manhole is broken and is located in the roadway.

"The road is already narrowing, and my car barely made it past to avoid falling in. It was the same situation in the morning, but I thought they would have covered it by evening," the caller told us.

We contacted the hot line of the Yerevan municipality, where we were informed that the manhole belongs to Veolia Water Ltd. "We have already been notified about the issue; we hope it will be closed today," the municipality responded.
