Police Discover Apartment Burglars: 'Fork', 'Spoon', and 'Ladle' – One is Female
On February 12, police uncovered suspects involved in a residential burglary that occurred on February 5 in the Ararat region. According to Shamshyan.com report, three individuals from Yerevan—27-year-old Vahan A., 30-year-old Artak G., and 28-year-old Ashkhen J.—were detained by the Artashat division of the police.
It was confirmed that the operational information received by the Artashat police was accurate, and a part of the stolen items has been recovered.
On February 5, a resident of August 23 Street in Artashat, 48-year-old Arpenik Gh., reported to the Artashat police that on the same day, between 09:00 and 20:00, unknown individuals had opened her front door with a makeshift key, ransacked her bedrooms, and stolen gold jewelry, cash, and other items.
On the same day, the Ararat regional investigative department launched a criminal case under Article 177, Part 3, Clause 1.1 of the RA Criminal Code. Thanks to the diligent, operational, and extensive investigative work conducted by the police and investigators in the Ararat region, the trio was located.
According to sources, the mentioned individuals have been arrested. One of them, who was the leader guiding the others, is nicknamed 'Fork', another, known for being the lookout, is called 'Spoon', while the 'thief' is referred to as 'Ladle'.
