Number of Coronavirus Cases in the U.S. Reaches 15

The fifteenth case of the coronavirus infection has been reported among Americans evacuated from Wuhan, China, in the United States. This information has been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

It has been reported that since February 7, the patient has been quarantined at a military base in Texas following their evacuation from Wuhan. The individual is currently isolated and receiving treatment in a hospital.

As a result, the total number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases in the U.S. has reached 15. It is likely that new cases will be reported in the coming days and weeks, including among individuals who have recently returned from Wuhan,” the statement from the CDC said.

It is noted that over 600 people are currently in quarantine.
