Customs Committee Discovers Hunting Bullets Hidden from Customs Control
The State Revenue Committee’s Eastern Customs Administration and the Internal Security Department recently conducted a visual inspection of a vehicle belonging to an Armenian citizen arriving from Georgia. Following the inspection, it was revealed that there were goods concealed from customs control under the floor of the vehicle’s trunk.
Upon further in-depth examination, 92 boxes of bullets were discovered in a section designed for a gas cylinder system in the trunk. In total, 2300 hunting bullets of Turkish manufacture, measuring 12mm in caliber and weighing 34 grams each, were found. An official record was drawn up concerning the violation of customs regulations.
