Armenia Collaborates with Georgia to Organize Flights to the USA: Revazyan
The Armenian aviation authorities are working with their Georgian counterparts to organize flights from Armenia to the United States as part of a joint program. This was announced today by Tatevik Revazyan, the head of the Civil Aviation Committee, during an Armenian National Assembly session.
Revazyan noted that a weekly flight is not convenient for airlines, which is why the Armenian and Georgian sides are trying to combine their efforts to ensure a larger passenger flow. However, she also indicated the primary reason for the disagreement.
According to Revazyan, the Armenian side wishes for flights to be directed toward Los Angeles, which has a large community, while the Georgian side prefers flights to be conducted toward New York.
