VIDEO: It Takes Centuries for 15-Minute Use Bags to Decompose, Government Reports
The Ministry of Environment has proposed a draft that would ban the use of certain types of polyethylene from 2022. This topic is addressed in a video by the Government of Armenia.
Single-use polyethylene bags are typically used by individuals several times a day for an average of just 10 to 15 minutes, yet it takes centuries for them to decompose.
